Infant & Toddler Forum

In recent years health and childcare professionals (HCPs) have been encouraged to devote a growing part of their time to disease prevention, health promotion and early intervention. This has come about, in part, because of the recognition that good eating habits adopted in early life have life-long health benefits.

The Infant & Toddler Forum (ITF) was formed in the recognition that HCPs play a critical role in providing advice to parents and in implementing public health policy. They therefore need to have access to the latest and best evidence-based thinking. They also need resources to translate this information into clear health messages for parents, and to interact with other health professionals and thereby learn from each other and share best practice.
